Bursar away on hols

I sent an e-mail to our Bursar the other day asking him if we have any kind of SRI policy and asking to see the details of the college investment funds. His deputy has just replied thanking me for my questions (hah!) and telling me that the bursar is away until 7th week. I am now considering taking the issue to our Master who can't hide away on sabbatical.
